Hyper realistic Sculpture by artists Santissimi

Hyper realistic Sculpture by artists Santissimi.

/////////

The work of the Santissimi looks at the art as an operational machine in which to cross, staying, the forms more or less accomplices of the knowledge that reflected in the definition: « philosophical empiricism in the art« . Philosophical empiricism means putting into practice the knowledge, to perform an operation of thought, or to be more precise, translate into visual terms, the scientific and philosophical thought .
As the philosopher analyses the knowledge in its most theoretical, describing and analysing the more purely ‘technical-intellectuals’ forms, in the poetic of Santissimi the appearance of that knowledge is put on stage in the work of art, practiced in the work of art (a collection of potency and act), crossing the words and games that are hidden behind the shapes of knowledge. The poetic itself is never a poetic declared, but it emerges digging the poetics of the wait, the attention, the fear and the mystery “beyond the borders of the knowledge.”The process that you live in the work of the Santissimi, it manifests through the sign of the revelation, so that: the expected is defeated by the unexpected, take action corresponds to « be acted » and the joys of childbirth are finally the creation of the work.

« This is a kind of silicon, it is not easy to make and use. So, we needed to maket hat material with a crowded team. It takes long hours. The quantity of the material that we throw is much more than that we use for the exhibition. Because we tried a lot of times and we failed. It requires several steps to create a sculpture. At first, I design them at a digital media, then we print them. We take a mould on those printouts. The moulds are covered with plastering, textures are created and after that process we take a mould again and they are painted and put in that liquid places. This is not a processcan be fulfilled with a few people in a few days. A very Professional team worked on that issue for one year. Yes, I imagined, fictionalized but thesesculptures are created by a huge team. Here is the division of labor; there is a moulder dealing with modelling wax, there are other people applying textures, others working on the computer. » (Source EN : Optically addicted)

« I seek to expose the beauty that often results from decay while, at the same time, making my viewer question their own perception of the world around them. To accomplish this, I begin by observing instances of decay within my surroundings that I find inspiring due to form, color, or texture. With clay as my medium of choice I then meticulously render by hand those elements, taking advantage of clay’s innate ability to mimic a wide variety of materials. I utilize trompe l’oeil as a stylistic choice to emphasize the concept that our understanding of the world is an illusion. The juxtaposition of natural and man-made features in combination with the skewing of scale, proportion, and material, helps in creating an altered perception – forcing the viewer to look closer. »

Emanuele Dascanio Painter Artist

Emanuele Dascanio was born in Garbagnate Milanese in 1983.
After graduating from art school Lucio Fontana di Arese, in 2003 he enrolled at the Academy of Brera painting section: having learned to live in an environment decadent for the same painting, leave after six months.
Continuing, however, to have the desire and the need for artistic growth, in 2007 I began the study of Gianluca Corona, finding in him a good teacher and learning the technique of oil painting.
He has participated in various competitions and exhibitions nationally and internationally, ranking near the top.
Emanuele Dascanio is a perfectionist, he has devoted much time to the study of artistic techniques and the search for continuous improvement in his skills as a painter, before embarking on the exhibition schedule.

“The portrait is a classic theme in the world of painting. However, I try to create elements of surprise in each of my portraits, the way I crop them, the expression or the attitude of the models. But the power of the portrait lies above all in the look of the model, which is unique each time. All I have to do is underline the strength and the intensity.”
